Lynn will continue its tradition of hosting important conversations when it welcomes the Millennium Campus Conference (MCC) Oct. 10-12. The three-day event, established by the Millennium Campus Network (MCN), brings together youth leaders from nearly 60 nations in an effort to elevate discussions about global development and social issues related to the United Nations Millennium Development Goals. “From our nationally praised core curriculum, the Dialogues of Learning, to the final 2012 presidential debate, important conversations are happening every day at Lynn,” said Lynn President Kevin M. Ross. “We are thrilled to partner with MCN to bring this transformational conference to Boca Raton and continue our university’s longstanding focus on civic engagement.” The conference, now in its sixth year, unites hundreds of highly involved student leaders from around world who are committed to advocating for change within their own student organizations and across global development areas. Youth leaders will explore key concepts in international development and share feedback and engage with each other through event debates, panels, discussions and experiential learning programs featuring Lynn faculty, senior executives from the world’s largest not-for-profit organizations and other celebrated guests.
