Scott Gordon signs with local team

As previously mentioned in a recent story, Scott Gordon ’10 was drafted in the 3rd round by FC Dallas in the 2011 MLS SuperDraft. After an impressive training camp and some great pre-season match performances for FC Dallas, Gordon showed how valuable he is as a player. After his release from FC Dallas it was not hard for him to find a new home quickly. His new soccer home is now near his real home as he has signed with the Ft. Lauderdale Strikers of the North American Soccer League.

Gordon is set to help bolster the back line for the Strikers and is looking forward to a great season in South Florida. The Ft. Lauderdale Strikers open up against FC Edmonton on April 9 at 7:30 p.m. at Lockhart Stadium in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Keep up with Gordon at the Strikers website www.strikers.com.
