Nordstrom gifts conservatory with piano

Nordstrom’s program to donate their pianos to local not-for-profit organizations benefited the Lynn University Conservatory of Music recently when the Town Center store gifted it with a 1999 Steinway Grand piano, Model B.

When Roberta Rust learned through a colleague at the New World Symphony that the store’s South Florida locations were donating their pianos, she contacted the corporate offices of Nordstrom and was able to secure one for use in the conservatory.

 “Lynn University was fortunate to receive the piano as a result of the fine reputation the Conservatory of Music enjoys in the community and among top area musical organizations such as the New World Symphony,” states Rust.
