Planning all over the world

Drew Boslow ‘11 built a strong name for herself while at Lynn University and is beginning to establish her talents on an international level. Originally from South Florida, Drew attended Rollins College. Quickly realizing that wasn’t the right fit for her, she came back to Boca Raton and enrolled at Lynn University. She began to work in the events department, as a student, and has been associated with events ever since.

Drew was involved in extra-curricular activities on campus and worked extremely hard building her resume to what it is today.  As a student-employee, Drew worked in the box office as well as assisting with coordinating the annual Transitions Conference, held on campus. When Lynn hosted the final presidential debate of 2012, a number of events at the University needed coordination. Drew’s leadership allowed an extremely successful “Party on the Lawn” and Viewing Party, with nearly 3,500 people in attendance. She handled the logistics of the project as well as properly scheduled 100 volunteers for duty.

Because of these experiences, Drew was offered the position of Small Meetings Manager at Paragon Events in Delray Beach, FL. Her tasks have been anything but small. Drew has organized and hosted events in Morocco, Phoenix, and Shanghai – all in less than a year. Recently, she spent two weeks in Shanghai where she arranged every detail involving the schedule of nearly 450 people. Traveling on an international scale has made Drew comfortable working in other countries; it’s perhaps even her strong point. Drew has found her niche career and has great plans for success in the near future.
