Stacey Chando '04, Ana Segura '03, Justine Eaglin '02, Roberta Fedorko '78, Joe Pucci '11, and two other friends of the university took Knights Unite Day of Caring on the road to the Big Apple. Traditionally, Knights Unite Day of Caring is a day of service that takes place on and around the Lynn University campus. These five Fighting Knight alumni decided to break that mold and honor those who were lost with a service project in New York City.

They volunteered at a place called City Harvest Mobile Market which provides fresh produce to families around the city free of charge. Stacey, Ana, Justine, Roberta, and Joe helped deliver fresh produce to over 463 families.

What started off in 2011 as a Knights Unite Day of Caring here at Lynn University has now spread to the biggest city in the world with the help of these four amazing alumni. Each of them wore their Knights Unite shirts proudly. This South Florida tradition is on its way to becoming a national one.
