On May 14 at Lynn University’s undergraduate commencement ceremony, Dr. Ralph Norcio of the College of Business and Management was awarded the first Homer and Martha Gudelsky Endowed Professorship in Business.

Norcio, who had not been informed prior to the ceremony that he had been named the Gudelsky Professor, was surprised when President Ross announced it at commencement. Norcio noted, “It was indeed a great honor for me to be awarded the Homer and Martha Gudelsky Endowed Professorship in Business. I am thankful to the Gudelsky family, President Ross, my colleagues, and especially to Lynn University students, whom I consider to be very special.”

When asked about what being the recipient of this prestigious professorship means to him, Norcio said, “This honor is especially gratifying, since the recognition was the result of my passion for teaching and advising students at Lynn University. I am very fortunate to have had the opportunity to be involved in the education of so many outstanding students.”
