Businessman, author, producer, teacher, you name it, Patrick Glover ’05 ’06 has done it.

Patrick owns a grand slew of businesses including Urban Scrap Metal, Trilingual Marketing and Hip Hop Idol.

Urban Scrap Metal specializes in consulting and designing one ounce gold, platinum and silver celebrity and athletic coins. Trilingual Marketing is a mobile marketing company that empowers brands, agencies and media properties to engage customers, drive loyalty and increase sales.

Kommercial Kings collaborates with Trilingual Marketing to create radio, television, and video voice over productions. Lastly, Hip Hop Idol is a reality television show that serves as a platform for urban artists to showcase the positivity of the art form that is often portrayed in a negative light.

Even with his busy schedule he finds the time to get involved with the Palm Beach State Upward Bound (UB) program.

The UB program provides pre-college preparation for youth, grades 9th through 12th, interested in attending college. During the summer of 2013, Patrick joined Palm Beach State UB as the head resident and supervisor. He provided leadership and overall direction to the students to contribute to the successful outcome of the students.

Many of the students have the potential to be first generation college students, so Patrick strived to create as many opportunities as possible for the students. Saying this, he brought a group of 40 UB students to Lynn University over the summer. The students were taken on tours of every aspect of campus from the Wold Performing Arts Center to the dorms and the classroom to the student center to grasp the Lynn college experience. The objective was to help his students compare a more domestic school like Palm Beach State with the internationally diverse, Lynn University. Patrick is staying connected with Lynn while helping others find their path to Lynn.
