Climbing the tower to success

The moment that Daniel Manzano stepped onto Lynn University’s campus, he knew this was it. After leaving Colombia during a violent time, Manzano was looking for an education that was very personalized. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2001 and in 2002, his Master of business Administration. The education at Lynn University was similar to the way he was educated in South America. At a university where the classes are small and professors are dedicated to students, Manzano felt right at home.

Manzano was sitting in the office of a real estate attorney with his father when he was offered a job position that would change the course of his life. He became a receptionist for the attorney who would later become his partner. They went on to create, Town Center Group, which became part of the fifteen fastest growing Hispanic businesses in the nation in 2006. The company grew to over 170 people in which they integrated real estate and mortgage sales, as well as real estate closings. They were one of the pioneers that equipped all of their customers’ real estate needs under one roof.

Seven years later, Manzano decided that he would put his entrepreneurship abilities to good use. While making the decision on opening his business, he was reminded of his professors at Lynn who always inspired him to become an entrepreneur. Manzano is currently the Managing Partner and founder of AppleTower Title & Escrow, LLC. His company is very successful in the State of Florida. They work to perform real estate and commercial closings and write title insurance policies. Even though they are currently physically located in Broward County, they have short-term plans to expand offices in the Miami Dade and Palm Beach Counties.

“I’ve been in the business for over 15 years. I’ve seen the good and the bad and what I haven’t seen, I investigate,” said Manzano. “I learn every day and I learn from my clients and the realtors.
